Product Description & Uses:
A superior quality protective finish producing a deep gloss finish on properly
prepared surface. Suitable for use on wood, metal, Plaster, Wallboards, brick
work and stone work etc, over the appropriate primer and undercoat.
LUXOR Super Gloss is formulated to offer maximum durability in extreme
tropical and coastral weather conditions and contains a Polyurethane additive
to improve resistance against abrasion and general wear and tear. Also
available in fungicidal Quality to combat mould growth, algae etc.

Notes

When using white or a pale shade of undercoat and finishing coats over
a dark primer or a dark previously painted surfaces, the application of a
second coat undercoat may be required.
Stop up cracks, nail holes and other surface imprefections with linseed oil
putty or appropriate filler, after priming or before undercoating.
Allow 16 hours drying time and lightly rub down and dust off between coats.
When repainting sound gloss painted surface with a similar shade the
application of one good coat of LUXOR Super Gloss is frequently sufficient

Application	By Brush, roller or spray.
Thinning & Mixing	LUXOR Super Gloss is supplied ready for use, for spray application, thin to the required viscosity with LUXOR White Spirit. Stir well before use.
Drying Times	Surface dry in approximately 4 hours. Through dry and recoatable after 16 hours
Spreading Capacity	13-15 square metres per litre when applied over LUXOR Universal Undercoat on a smooth surface.
Equipment Cleaner	White Spirit.
Color Range	Available in the full BS 4800 colour range plus additional LUXOR house colours.

New Work for maximum protection, Interior & Exterior	• Prepare surface (refer appropriate surface preparation data sheet) • Apply 1 coat (appropriate) primer, followed by 1 coat LUXOR Undercoat • Apply 2 coats LUXOR Super Gloss. Note: When applying gloss on gloss the 1st coat should be lightly abraded with fine sandpaper to guarantee good intercoat adhesion
Minimum Protection New Work For Medium & Low Cost Projects	• Prepare surface (refer appropriate surface preparation Datasheet). • Apply 1 coat (appropriate) prime. 1 coat LUXOR Undercoat. • Apply 1 coat LUXOR Super Gloss.
Previously Painted Surface In Unsound Condition	Remove all old loose, flaking and wrinkled oil paint using paint scrappers/sandpapers or by blow torch, paint and varnish remover or mechanical means down to the original surface where necessary. Patch Prime (bare metal, wood, Plaster surfaces) with appropriate primer. Apply 1 coat LUXOR Undercoat Followed by 1 coat LUXOR Super Gloss
